Schinder Law Firm's pioneer initiatives for attracting more investments following China's One Belt One Road Initiative
One belt one road, also known as the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a project initiated by the Chinese President Xi Jinping in the year 2013, the one belt one road policy's aim is to become the world's largest platform for economic cooperation, China's one belt one road policy will connect to Indonesia's economy directly through the Indochinan Peninsula Corridor, which will bring a huge advantage to the Indonesian economy in the future.
In connection with One belt one road policy, A delegation from Schinder Law Firm traveled to the People’s Republic of China from June 22nd to June 27th, 2017. The purpose of the trip was to attend the Asian Legal Business 2017 In-House Legal Summitin Shanghai. Schinder Law Firm is proud to have been one of the sponsors of the event.
During the visit, Asian Legal Businessarranged a meeting between Schinder Law Firm and Duan & Duan Law offices, Mcdermott Will and Emery China Law offices in Shanghai; subsequently, the delegation went on to meet with East Concord & Partners previously known as East Associate and Concord Partners before the mergers took place, and Global Law offices in Beijing. The main focus was the legal aspects of the investment climate in both the Republic of Indonesia and the People’s Republic of China, and there was a dynamic exchange of ideas as to how to maximize business synergy. Schinder Law Firm paid keen attention to the concerns of Chinese investors regarding their investments in Indonesia in light of the challenges in the current business environment.
