The Program
The pathway for entrepreneurial pioneers enables the approved candidate to enter the UK and actualize their business plans. The individual will have the authorization to engage in the operations of their established business and pursue other employment opportunities, provided the role demands a skill level not lower than RQF Level 3, equivalent to UK A Levels. Simultaneously, they are permitted to enroll in a course of studies while managing their business.
Initially, an inventive founder will be granted the right to reside and work in the UK for a maximum of three years. Subsequently, if they fulfill the requisite criteria, they may apply for permanent residency, commonly known as settlement.
The immediate family members of an inventive founder can join or follow them to the UK, including their partner and any dependent children. As dependents of the entrepreneurial pioneer, the partner or children have the freedom to engage in any form of work during their stay, excluding roles as sportspersons or coaches. Moreover, they are free to pursue any educational endeavors.

Essential Criteria

- Assume the role of either the sole founder or play a pivotal role as a key number of the founding team.
Accumulating 70 Points
To qualify for the innovator founder visa, applicants must amass a total of 70 points, with a minimum of 50 points allocated under the new business criteria. The remaining 20 points are contingent on meeting specific English language and financial requirements.
Business Criteria (50 points):
- 30 points: Recognized for the merit and viability of the applicant’s business plan.
- 20 points: Allocated if the proposed new business venture demonstrates innovation, viability, and scalability.
In order to attain these points, the applicant’s new business must align with the following principles:
- Genuine and Original Business Plan: The applicant should present a business plan that addresses either emerging or existing market needs, creating a competitive advantage within the UK.
- Realistic and Achievable Plan: The outlined business plan must be both realistic and achievable, considering the resources available to the applicant.
- Development of Necessary Skills and Knowledge: The applicant should possess or actively be in the process of acquiring the essential skills, knowledge, experience, and market awareness required to successfully manage their business.
- Structured Planning and Growth Potential: Evidence must be provided to showcase structured planning, along with the potential for job creation and expansion into national and international markets. This emphasizes the long-term growth and market presence of the proposed business venture.
Language & Financial Criteria (20 points):
- 10 points: Awarded for meeting the stipulated English language proficiency requirement.
- 10 points: Allocated for fulfilling the financial requirement.

- The crucial step of obtaining an endorsement from an accredited organization listed by the UK Home Office is undertaken.

- Upon review and approval by the Home Office, successful applicants are issued the Innovator Founder Visa for entry to the UK. Biometric Residence Permits, valid for three years, are also provided for all family members.
- After three years of continuous physical residence in the UK, applicants become eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), marking a significant milestone in their journey under the Innovator Founder Visa program.
