Programme Overview
Schinder Law Firm’s Legal Internship Programme provides law students and recent graduates with practical exposure to Indonesian business law and the professional standards of an international client-focused legal practice.
Interns work under the supervision of the firm’s lawyers and may support corporate transactions, foreign investment, legal due diligence, business licensing, regulatory matters, projects and dispute resolution.
The programme is designed to help participants understand how legal research, drafting and analysis are applied to real business matters. Interns are expected to approach every assignment with curiosity, discipline, confidentiality and a strong sense of responsibility.

- Assist with legal due diligence, document review and transaction checklists.
- Prepare initial drafts of legal summaries, memoranda, correspondence, chronologies and meeting notes.
- Support corporate, foreign investment, licensing, regulatory and dispute-related matters.
- Observe client meetings, negotiations, hearings or internal matter discussions when appropriate.
- Assist with the preparation of client presentations, legal updates and training materials.
- Learn how lawyers identify legal risks and translate them into practical business recommendations.
- Work with lawyers and professionals in a multilingual environment using English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Learning and Professional Development
Interns receive practical exposure, supervision and feedback intended to strengthen their legal research, drafting, analytical and professional communication skills.
The quality of the learning experience will depend on the intern’s preparation, curiosity, discipline and willingness to take responsibility for assigned work.
Completion of the internship does not guarantee an offer of employment. However, interns who demonstrate strong legal potential, integrity, reliability and alignment with the firm’s professional standards may be considered for future opportunities through the firm’s formal recruitment process.
